That's what's fun about having kids....

On Sunday my Dad picked up Ari's new little bath toy Sophie & said "this is what's fun about having little girls, cute things like this..."
Okay, well that is just cute in itself, awww Dad, PJ... Gotta love him!

So as I'm going to bed & I see these ducks sitting on our counter, I think "that is just what's fun about having kids..."
I'm smiling & laughing to myself because earlier today B was asking me to get his "penguins". I'm looking all over for what I think would be a penguin but he was actually talking about these two ducks... I then went on to explain to him, while they are similar to penguins, these are ducks. He said "they go in water?" I said yes, but... And he interrupted & said "yeah, penguins" :)
Then he went on for the next half hour calling them "penguins" although now with a little smirk as if he knew they were ducks & just liked to push my buttons...
and I just have to smile & think, it's stuff like this that makes having kids fun! :)
